The Soap People
The lovely founder of The Soap People, Helen, began experimenting with natural soaps when seeking an option that was better for her allergy prone skin and was suitable for her young family. Whilst also helping the family to ditch the plastic. Her successful experimenting led to The Soap People.
They pride themselves on using simple natural ingredients along with elements from nature that have been carefully selected for their beneficial properties. From their workshop in East Sussex, they have created a lovely range of eco-friendly soaps that not only appeal to different skin types but also ideal for those looking to lead a more sustainable lifestyle.
The Soap People donate 50% of their profits to charities that are fighting for our planet.
Teal & Grey
Based in the beautiful village of Ingatestone, Kerry, the talented product designer enjoys creating and sourcing beautiful gift collections and accessories for their boutique store. They aspire to use all natural materials ranging from cotton, linen and wool in their soft furnishings to sustainable soy and coconut wax in their candles.
Kerry and the team love creating bespoke and unique gifts for their customers’ special occasions.
The talented Bryony is the creator and maker behind Speckled Hand. Having always adored crafting, she only recently found her love of all things clay.
From her South East London home, Bryony handcrafts jewellery, home accessories and gifts from lightweight air-dry clay. Being a naturally eco-friendly material (as no kiln is required), every piece is hand shaped, sanded, speckled and finished before being carefully packed. Usually a 3 day process, which she told us she still loves as much as the first piece she created!
Bramble & Blossom
The lovely Karen founded Bramble & Blossom in 2019 with the goal of making eco-friendly uncomplicated skincare and aromatherapy solutions for modern life.
As a child and teenager she was completely obsessed with lotions and potions. After studying aromatherapy and massage therapy, she revelled in being able to help friends and family with their daily ailments and further explored the positive benefits of essential oils for wellness.
From her workshop based in a small village in Hertfordshire, her range focuses on finding solutions for modern problems such as low mood, insomnia, anxiety and lack of energy. They pride themselves in sustainably and ethically sourcing all of their raw ingredients and use the highest quality natural ingredients available.
All of their products are cruelty-free and vegan-friendly. They donate 2% of their profits to Tiggywinkles, a wildlife hospital.
Botanical alchemy – Mathilde’s fascination with the potency of natural ingredients has fed her desire to create truly natural plant-based bath, skincare and relaxation products.
She began blending her knowledge of chemistry, herbal remedies and aromatherapy with her holistic understanding of how to reconnect with our bodies and nature. After a few years of successfully experimenting, she founded MYTHYN in 2016.
Mathilde's products are designed to nurture, improve wellbeing and bring joy. They are vegan-friendly, cruelty-free and handmade in small batches using the highest quality natural nourishing oils and butters, minerals, botanicals and essential oils.
The lovely Virginie, mother of two, known as the friendly ‘Dorking Tea Lady’ is the master blender behind Totem Tea. From their Surrey Hills HQ Virginie has combined her interests in the environment, wellbeing and design, with her love of tea!
On her mission to create a happy feel-good cuppa, she has teamed uncompromising ethics with sourcing the highest quality organic fragrant tea leaves, herbs and fruit in to delicate and delicious blends of tea.
Part of the ethical tea partnership scheme, certified organic under the EU Organic scheme and presented in fully biodegradable packaging, Virginie has thought of everything to fully elevate that ‘happy cuppa’.
Chalke Valley Soaps
From their home workshop in the beautiful Chalke Valley, Helga and her family dedicate their time to crafting beautiful high quality products whilst being mindful about their impact on the planet.
Inspired by her beloved grandma who also made her own soaps, Helga spent years perfecting the cold-process soap making with a view to make soap for her family to use as her grandma once did.
An unfortunate accident left Helga unable to follow her profession and around the time of Covid-19, she took to soap making to help her own wellbeing and to support the local community, the feedback was overwhelming and she has since become a full-time soaper.
Chalke Valley have created a stunning range of zero waste soaps, cruelty-free, vegan-friendly soaps which are packed to the brim with nut butters, seed oils, minerals and essential oils.
They donate £1 per mini variety box sold to support local and national causes.
From her home studio in Dorset, Beth the Founder of BAO cosmetics prides herself in creating beautiful skin-loving products that make your skin happy. Formulated to either uplift and rejuvenate or calm and restore.
In 2009 Beth was diagnosed with a chronic digestive disease, she turned to natural products to help with skin problems that occurred as a result of medication. From the success of this she was inspired to start BAO Skincare in 2012.
Her organic, cruelty-free and vegan-friendly range of skincare products have been beautifully hand blended using the finest plant oils, nut butters, natural fragrances and essential oils.
Lost + Fond
The charming founder of this new business, Man Ying, is the maker of beautiful vegan-friendly and cruelty-free hand poured soy wax candles and melts. Having moved from Hong Kong to Swindon 3 years ago, she found her commute to her London job unbearable each day. Having always been passionate about candles and home fragrance Man Ying, decided to start Lost+Fond.
She blends natural soy wax, with essential oils and botanicals to create a range of mesmerising scents. They are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. She has created a beautiful brand and products which remind people to look after themselves.
Their motto is ‘Stay Cozy. All Seasons. Appreciate the Moment’.
The Sunshine Bindery
Mell is the dreamer, shaker and magic maker behind The Sunshine Bindery. She creates joyful illustrated paper goods, hand crafted journals and eco-friendly stationary. Inspired by self-care, well-being and the zero waste movement, Mell loves nothing more than to get lost in creating beautiful items that customers can call their happy and safe space.
She prides herself in sourcing raw materials/services from local and UK based companies who share her ethical ethos. Being conscious about the planets resources, the products are made using recycled paper and are presented in plastic-free packaging.
Charlotte Manser Ceramics
“The ability to craft an object from the material found beneath our feet is what drives my passion to create”, says Charlotte Manser.
Having graduated in Ceramics in 2017, Charlotte now spends her time working on large scale organic sculptures as well as timeless hand thrown pieces for the home, all with a sustainable philosophy at heart. Only firing the kiln when completely full, reclaiming unused clay, and the use of eco-friendly packaging are just a few of the ways she reduces her impact on the environment.
From her studio based just outside the Cotswolds she explores the use of texture, colour and glazes to create unique desirable pieces to hold and use.
A La KArt Creations
The talented and lovely Kitti spends her days making unique and bespoke, plantable cards and wildflower seed bombs, promoting the love for nature and protecting our environment through reuse and recycling.
Her unique creations are lovingly crafted to bring lasting joy as they bloom and grow!
